St. Mary’s Art Center is a regional art center, housed in the 18,000 sq. foot historical St. Mary Louise Hospital. For the last forty-two years the Center, sitting on five acres, has been operating continuously as an art and retreat center featuring nationally known photography, painting, sculpting and mixed media instructors. The Center is open year round for workshops, exhibitions and special programming. It houses two large studios, three galleries, sixteen sleeping rooms, a communal kitchen, large sunny dining room and artists’ lounge. Year round the center hosts a free Open Studio Tuesday 1:00 p.m. to whenever the creativity runs out.
