You will meet the residents of 19^th century Comstock in person. They will share their stories, their lives, and their deaths. Each of the nine characters will be dressed in appropriate period costumes with tales from the past to share with you.

Voices of the Past – The Living Tour takes place in the Silver Terrace Cemeteries in Virginia City.  The audience size is limited for each performance, tickets will sell out.

Shows are at 10 am and 1 pm, Saturday and Sunday, starting the weekend of October 7 & 8 and running through the weekend of October 14 & 15.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children under 12 and seniors.

All aboard the Virginia & Truckee Railroad for a journey that will take you back in time to uncover the tale of the Red Light Angel, Julia Bulette, and solve a murder mystery like no other, October 7.

Imagine a time when Julia Bulette, the famed courtesan of Virginia City, held the town’s elite under her spell. You’ll be transported to an age of opulence and allure. Every passenger plays a role in solving the baffling murder that has sent shockwaves through the community. As the wheels of the locomotive turn, so will the gears of your mind. Engage in captivating conversations and piece together the intricate puzzle surrounding Julia Bulette’s untimely demise. With every twist and turn of the tracks, you’ll find yourself one step closer to unveiling the truth.

Each carriage is carefully preserved and will truly take you back in time to the 1800s, if you’re ready to fully embrace the period, wear your best Victorian dress!

There will be two Murder Mystery trains running in Virginia City from the V&T Depot on Saturday, October 7 at 5 pm and 6:30 pm.

Goblins of all ages dressed to scare are invited to participate in the Hauntober Parade and Safe Trick-or-Treating on Halloween night, October 31.

Adults, kids, and even pets are encouraged to wear a costume join in the parade, and participate in the costume contest. Check-in and costume contest starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Virginia City Jerky Company. The parade begins at 5 p.m. Stick around after the parade for safe trick-or-treating at the many shops along the boardwalk.

Once a year, on Halloween, the gates to the old Silver Terrace Cemetery stay open for visitors to stroll past dusk. Here, souls rest in peace but their stories live forever.
