Fourth Ward School is starting the year with a pre-season event on Friday, April 29th, at 7pm: ÒIntroduction to Swing DancingÓ. Chris Bayer will give a short presentation of the origins of Swing music, then together with his band ÒThe Honky Tonk BumsÓ will also provide us with live music, raising the groove on the dance floor!
But not to worry, if youÕre hesitant about not knowing how to Swing Ñ Clay Mitchell from the Reno Swings and Northern Nevada Lindy Hoppers will be offering a fun and easy introductory lesson first! The goal is to find interested audiences to continue lessons at the Fourth Ward School and Museum.
