Piper’s Opera House invites you to celebrate the holidays with its annual Christmas play. This year, enjoy the ‘The Nutcracker vs. The Tommyknockers,’ a parody of the classic Nutcracker ballet with various show dates throughout December.
The story takes place in Virginia City and will feature all of the classic Nutcracker characters like Uncle Drosselmeyer, Clara and Fritz. However, in true Comstock fashion, the tommyknockers take the stage with a reputation for kidnapping wayward children. Don’t miss out on this magical Christmas story with a bit of a twist at the historic Piper’s Opera House.
Shows will run:
- December 14th at noon and 4 pm.
- December 15th at 2 pm.
- December 20th at 6 pm.
