4th of July Parade

Our 4th of July Parade on the Comstock is about as patriotic as you can get. Virginia City’s 4th of July is pure Americana with a jovial atmosphere all day and night. The streets are decked in red, white and blue. The parade is full of candy-throwing, classic cars and car clubs, first responders, military, veteran organizations and more.

Stay for the rest of the festivities including a free concert taking place before the fireworks with David John & the Comstock Cowboys. When it comes to the main show, you’re guaranteed to feel the boom of the fireworks in your bones as the display shoots into the night sky towering above the small mountain town.

4th of July on the Comstock activities include:

12 p.m. – 4th of July Parade
6 p.m. – David John & the Comstock Cowboys Free Second Amendment Concert at the Bucket of Blood parking lot
Dusk – Fireworks Spectacular

Throughout the weekend, the V&T Railroad will be running its steam trains.
