Piper’s Opera House: The VC Relic and The Professor of Something or Other

Join The Comstock Foundation and Piper’s Opera House as they continue with their monthly lecture series.

Returning to Piper’s Opera House is the duo affectionately called, The Ron and Joe Show. The local historians will discuss their recent research on the varied cultural groups that made up the eclectic population of the Comstock from the 1860s to today. This includes the Germans, the Irish, the Welsh and the Jewish population, as well as many others that sustained the economy, entertainment, and mining industries of Virginia City.

Speakers are two local historians, Joe Curtis and Ron Gallagher, both well-known for their rich knowledge of the Comstock and their ability to tell a great story.

Tickets are $10 per person
Lecture starts at 7 pm, doors open at 6:30 pm
