We’ve always said our town has a magic after dusk. When the crowds dwindle and the sun sets, there’s a feeling of nostalgia you just can’t describe. The lights come on and the buildings that have stood for more than 150 years begin to shine – it’s easy to imagine what this town was like back in simpler times.
That’s why we’re inviting everyone – from near and far – to join us after-hours and experience what this town is really like after dark.
The third Thursday of each month is Everyone’s a Local At Night.
Participating businesses, including shops, museums, tours and attractions, will stay open until 8 p.m. so you can take in more of our real, authentic old-west vibe and feel the magic for yourself. Each month will feature something new, maybe special discounts, VIP tours, or live music. Your experience could be as simple as pulling up a stool at an old saloon bar where Mark Twain once enjoyed a whiskey. Or play bingo at the historic Piper’s Opera House. Maybe it’s a quiet dinner with a special someone, or a thrilling escape room experience.
Check out our socials for updates monthly and mark your calendars for the third Thursday of each month. We’ll see you on the Comstock!
