Girls of All Ages Get Their Day in Virginia City
The 5thannual Father-Daughter Day & Dance takes place Feb. 23, 2019
Daddies and daughters, grandpas and granddaughters and parents of girls of all ages, take over the Comstock for the 5th annual Father-Daughter Day & Dance, Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019. It’s a special time for bonding and for making memories with the young girls in your life. Join us for a fun-filled day with an all-inclusive pass featuring lunch, hot cocoa and special treats, old time photos, and of course dancing at Piper’s Opera House. It’s a date day like none other in historic Virginia City.
New in 2019, there are two dance times to choose from: 12 to 1:30 p.m. or 2 to 3:30 p.m. The all-inclusive package includes a full day of fun before or after the dance and includes:
- Lunch at either Canvas Café (pasta or wrap with drink), Delta Café (nachos or hot dog and french fries), Red’s Old-Fashioned Candies (small sandwich for dads and a mini bite for daughters), Red Dog Saloon (pizza, chips and a drink) or The Roasting House (sandwiches or cups of home-style soup)
- Hot cocoa or coffee at The Roasting House
- Old-Time portraits at either Garters & Bloomers, Priscilla Pennyworth’s or Silver Sadie’s Old Time Photos
- Sweet treats at Grandma’s Fudge Factory (fudge samples) or Red’s Old-Fashioned Candies (sundae)
- A hand-made corsage
All-Inclusive packages are $99 for two. Tickets for additional daughters can be purchased for $40. Dance only tickets are $20 for children and $25 for adults. It is highly recommended to purchase tickets in advance online. Check-in for the day begins at 11 a.m. at The Delta Saloon.
