Molinelli Building Audio Tour

Now part of the Silver Queen, Molinelli’s Hotel was established in 1879 and remained in this building for many decades.
In the 1880s it shared the ground floor with a retail liquor store and a popular restaurant called the Capital Rotisserie and Saloon.
The architectural ornamentation on the building, make note of the ornate cornice over the entrance, makes the Molinelli building one of the more intriguing buildings on C Street.
Today, the Silver Queen offers 28 beautifully restored rooms featuring built-in bathrooms, including a shower or an authentic claw foot bathtub. It’s also known to be a ghost hunter’s delight along with one of the most popular places to get married.
