Virginia City’s Christmas on the Comstock Will Have You Believing Again

Believe Again Events Dec. 7 and 14 – Celebration All Month Long

This December, Virginia City, Nevada will have you Believing Again. There’s no place like this historic Comstock mining town for that warm and fuzzy, traditional Christmas vibe. This year the town is going all out with three-weekends of events starting after Thanksgiving Day, Friday, Nov. 29, 2019.

Festivities include a town-wide activity to save Christmas, the Parade of Lights, live music and concerts, historic tours, artisan craft fairs, A Comstock Christmas Carol original production at Piper’s Opera House, carriage rides, photos and letters to Santa, the Candy Cane Express train, a shopping spree worth $500 courtesy of Dolan Auto Group and much more. It’s a real-life vintage Christmas celebration embracing the slower pace and filled with lights and local shops decorated to the hilt all month long.

Believe Again – A Christmas Cheer Challenge

Take the family on a fun-filled adventure in Virginia City – Believe Again, December 7 and 14. Good ol’ Santa Claus has locked up the Grinch for all the negative Christmas spirit he has spread and placed him in the center of town for everyone to see. In an attempt to show the Grinch what the spirit of the season is all about, it’s up to YOU to find Christmas Cheer scattered throughout town. Christmas cheer can be found at participating shops, restaurants, museums and at other activities taking place during the day. Collect cheer and free the Grinch, plus be entered into a drawing for one of two $500 shopping sprees good at participating Virginia City merchants.
